laboge is a programme created by the City of Saint-Étienne. It is aimed at young people aged 13 to 29 and students of all ages. It’s a real concentrate of good deals, top tips, practical information, help and news. Laboge also organises flagship events such as Saint-Étienne Accueille Ses Étudiants (SASE) and a dedicated team at the Espace Info Jeunes, ready to support young people in Saint-Étienne throughout the year.

This is the place to be for young people aged 13 to 29 looking for advice, information and support in their daily lives. Whether it’s to help create a powerful CV, find a training course, get a job, look for accommodation or understand administrative procedures, a team of advisers is on hand to offer tailor-made support.

3. A guide to help for students in difficult situations
Saint-Étienne Métropole provides students with a comprehensive guide to meet their essential needs (meals, accommodation, healthcare, etc.). The guide also includes anonymous helplines for those experiencing difficulties. Finally, emergency solution details are provided to help with complex situations (temporary accommodation, health treatments, etc.).

Every year, Saint-Étienne organises free events for students to help them discover the area and its many facets. One of the highlights is Saint-Étienne Accueille Ses Étudiants (SASE), which offers a varied programme of cultural, festive and sports activities. What’s more, the GAGA’STRONOME event allows international students to share an enjoyable meal with local Stéphanois (as the city’s residents are known!), exploring French cuisine while discovering the city.
